Femina now using robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery

We are utilizing robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery for benign gynecologic conditions i.e., fibroids and hysterectomy.  The benefits of this approach include reduced infection and scarring, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times.

Telemedicine Program with UNC Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine/In-Office Ultrasonography

We are very excited about this collaborative effort.  We plan to employ telemedicine to allow for our patients to benefit from expert consultations performed by providers on staff at UNC at Chapel Hill, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine.  The telemedicine services will include prenatal consultations for high risk pregnancies i.e., multifetal pregnancies, genetic counseling, medical complications etc., as well as high-level ultrasound for obstetrical and fetal problems. Our sonographers are experienced and certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
